Current Causes That We Support.
H.A.B.B.I.T.S. was created to help provide funding and solutions towards world-wide problems. Please help us by showing your support towards the problems we can solve together. Thank you for viewing our page and showing your support. 
We recognize that currently 900,000 Veterans are still on the wait list to receive their benefits. 30% of Veterans who returned home are currently unemployed or unable to start their own business. Below is the amount of funding we have currently provide to help our Veterans of America.

The animals whose abuse is most often reported are dogs, cats, horses and livestock. Based on numbers from pet-abuse.com, of 1,880 cruelty cases reported in the media in 2007:

  • 64.5 percent (1,212) involved dogs (25 percent of these were identified as pit-bull-type breeds)
  • 18 percent (337) involved cats
  • 25 percent (470) involved other animals
Below is the amount of funding we have provided to assist against Animal Cruelty.

  • Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women between the ages of 15 and 44 in the United States, more than car accidents, muggings, and rapes combined.

  • There are 1,500 shelters for battered women in the United States. There are 3,800 animal shelters.

  • One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.

    1. Bullies are more likely to engage in vandalism, shoplifting, truancy, and substance abuse than students who do not bully during early childhood. There is also a direct correlation between substance abuse and gun violence and bullying behavior.o
    1. Many adults who were bullying victims report that over time, feelings of unhappiness and shame decreased. However, those who remembered bullying as intensely painful continued to show low self-esteem, depression, pathological perfection, and greater neuroticism.n
      1. Research clearly indicates that children as young as age 5 who continually observe bullying that goes unchecked or ignored by adults are at greater risk of becoming bullies themselves.

    Using a single benchmark provides a more informative picture. Because non-Hispanic white men are the largest demographic group in the labor force, they are often used for that purpose.

    Compared with salary information for white male workers, Asian American women’s salaries show the smallest gender pay gap, at 90 percent of white men’s earnings. The gap was largest for Hispanic and Latina women, who were paid only 54 percent of what white men were paid in 2014 (Figure 4). The smaller gender pay gap among African Americans, Hispanics, American Indians, and Native Hawaiians is due solely to the fact that those men of color were paid substantially less than non-Hispanic white men in 2014.
