In dealing with the past and current events for veterans, problems still arise.This petition gives everyone a chance to directly benefit our veterans whom are currently in need. Placing an option on the IRS federal tax forms that you can donate towards the Department of Veteran Affairs directly will help in many ways. Every American files taxes, therefore this will give everyone an easy convenient option to help Veterans immediately. The proceeds given will help improve the Department of Veteran Affairs towards the following:
1. Hiring adequate staff, temporary and permanent
2. Additional funds for assisting Veterans with transportation to and from appointments
3. Innovate a better filing system
4. Assistance with mental health and healing
